Clare Crawley wasn’t the only “Bachelorette” to leave the show with a Neil Lane engagement ring this season.
On Tuesday’s night finale, Tayshia Adams got engaged to Zac Clark, accepting a 3.25-carat emerald-cut sparkler surrounded by a halo of 27 round diamonds and further accented by 67 round diamonds.
“It’s classic, bright and very, very elegant,” the franchise’s longtime go-to jeweler told People of the ring Clark, 36, handpicked for Adams, 30.
“The emerald cut is a very elegant shape, a classic, very 1920s, vintage and high-style, and he said, ‘That’s it, she’s elegant’ … He loved the simple elegance.”
While Clark may have leaned into the ring shopping process, not all of the final men shared his enthusiasm. On part 1 of the finale on Monday evening, Brendan — who, like both Adams and Clark, was previously married and divorced — balked and then sent himself home after perusing wedding bling with Lane.
After Clark popped the question and Adams accepted, the pair rode off in the New York City-inspired cardboard taxi from their “hometown” date. Talk about a gem!
